A Plus OCR is the Plus Workflow module that enables reading data from the invoice header. Thanks to this solution, the data from the invoice header is read using the OCR technology and automatically entered into the invoice registration form. The Plus OCR module is a solution dedicated to reading data from the invoice image. This component is embedded in the Plus Workflow system.
It is a solution that has the business logic of reading data from any invoice in Polish and English. Importantly, activation of other language versions is also possible. The built-in business logic allows the application to recognize the data from a document image, read it, and then transfer it to the Plus Workflow system.

Thanks to this solution, the person responsible for invoice registration in the Plus Workflow system receives a form with filled-in fields describing the invoice.

The Plus OCR module allows reading data from the following document types:

  • purchase invoices,
  • sale invoices,
  • orders,
  • receipts.

Characteristics

The Plus OCR module has a wide range of functionalities, such as:

  • data recognition based on the built-in business logic,
  • recognition of data from the invoice header and footer,
  • effectiveness of data recognition for Polish accounting documents – over 80%,
  • management of documents in PDF format,
  • management of documents in Polish and English,
  • possibility to launch additional language versions,
  • activation of the Plus OCR module defined at the process map level – a component available in the process editor,
  • possibility to download data about a contractor from the base of Central Statistical Office of Poland,
  • server-side background processing of documents, the user gains access to the invoice image and data in the Plus Workflow system form.

License characteristics of the plug-in:

  • License – for the server, number of documents – 10,000 document pages per month,
  • The component designed for the server version of Plus Workflow,
  • The component is available with the Plus Workflow system license from version 3.2.

Recommended equipment configuration for processing up to 10,000 pages of documents per month:

  • 1 dedicated physical server,
  • CPU – min 48 vCores,
  • RAM – 64 GB DDR4,
  • Disks – min. 6TB (depending on the period of document storage),
  • Operating system – Linux – 3 virtual environments.
