The Plus Barcode Reader is a module created to separate documents scanned with the usage of multi-function devices and to read values from barcodes. This module supports the mass scanning of documents. The module, based on a barcode, separates a set of documents into particular documents and launches an appropriate workflow for each of them.

The Plus Barcode Reader ensures comprehensive support of various barcode types. It enables configuring and printing of barcodes from the level of the Plus Workflow or Plus DMS system. The main task of the Plus Barcode Reader is to support the Workflow system in printing appropriate barcodes. The usage of the Plus Barcode Reader ensures the users with full control over documents (invoices, contracts), thanks to their indexing.

The Plus Barcode Reader is fully integrated with the IT systems offered by Suncode, i.e., the Plus Workflow and the Plus DMS. The generated codes are read by such scanning applications as Kofax Capture and Kofax Express, Quickscan, TIS eFlow, Readsoft, and Abbyy FlexiCapture. Moreover, the Plus Barcode Reader module is compatible with popular barcode printers, such as Dymo and Zebra. The server-level configuration significantly improves the maintenance and conservation of the barcodes system in enterprises, especially in the case of distributed installation. Importantly, the Plus Barcode Reader also provides barcodes reading with the usage of laser barcode readers, which finds its application in many installations of the electronic workflow of documents.
