A Plus WebScan is a Plus Workflow module that allows scanning a document directly from the document form. It is possible with the usage of a scanner connected to the computer on which the user performs that action. This module allows the user to attach a scanned document to the form of the document workflow system.

The Plus WebScan module supports the work of the Plus Workflow and the Plus DMS. It is especially useful in the case of scanning documents in a distributed environment. The module is available from the web browser, thus, directly from the Plus Workflow system. With the usage of the Plus WebScan, the user may scan a limited number of documents from the level of the Plus Workflow or the Plus DMS systems’ form. Moreover, the system communicates with any scanning device with the TWAIN drivers connected to a computer.

Additional aspects, differentiating the Plus WebScan solution:

  • low implementation costs of the Plus WebScan,
  • the ability to configure any scanning equipment based on Twain drivers (Windows). It is required to install scanner drivers on the scanning workstations,
  • full integration of the Plus Webscan module with the Plus Workflow system,
  • high scanning ergonomy – the scanning is launched by the usage of the button located on the task form,
  • an automatic connection of the scanned document to the process.
